Hello Everyone,
So i just wanted to say i hope that everyone is treating their pets with love and care? I know i do.
I wanted to share with you all about my yearly bill i get charged for the pets shots and the yearly vet check ups. (480.00 roughly for the different things i need through out the year)
Okay, so depending on where you live and the vets, you can pay as little as 50.00 to 300.00 for vet fee's even higher i am sure.
I own four pets. I take great pride in all my pets and i love them each so much. All my pets were rescues and adopted.
Every year i take my pets to get their annual shots and vet check ups. This is something that is very important, because it helps your pets from getting sick and catching something in the end.
It also proves that you are a responsible pet owner. Now days you need proof, because you never know what is going to happen.
I went to my regular vet and i was shocked. They wanted almost 300.00 for just regular boosters and one or two rabies.
You could imagine my facial expression was like "Oh i don't know about that." The vet has became very popular around my parts and is now doubling the cost of the shots.
I asked if they went up on their prices and it was typical for them to say no, but i shopped around other places and the prices were just as high or even higher. Considering i have my last payments....DUH
I asked friends about vets they used and we compared prices from our previous payments. They were really different in the amount.
Some times i noticed when you go in to a vets office and you feel uncomfortable like you would with a real Doctor for your self, then you know they aren't going to work. I should have changed my vet sooner, but i didn't want to drive to far considering i live very far from the local towns.
So, my OPINION to you is try new vets,
Visit the office to make sure you like the vet. It never hurts to see the person you are going to have to take your pets to.
If you get a good vibe from them, then they are a keeper until they start to higher mean or rude staff then you look again.... Ha ha just kidding..
See before I really liked the vets office i was going to, then they hired new staff and new Dr.s and it was turning out to be a real joke to talk on the phone for info.
I mean if i have this kind of trouble then that it just annoying and ridiculous.
So not worth it.
I got a new vet and the price was a lot lower then i first was told i would have to pay.
I ended up switching vets to make sure that i could afford it and also, so that i would have a better experience with the vet as well.
Sometimes that's all you need to do. If you are over whelmed with the vet or the vet bill, just look for what you can afford and then make sure you like the vets office and staff.
That matters more than anything. If you want a great experience that will help you in the end.
I only have to pay 180.00 and that is for a few extra things i wanted to get checked out for my pets.
So much more cheaper and better staff as well.
I just wanted to share my daily letter and hope that if you are frustrated with your vet to take my experience and make a few changes! Thanks for reading a have a awesome weekend!
P.S Make sure your pets get their yearly shots, so they can be just as healthy as you are through out the year!
